About Marks AI.

An operations partner for ambitious, owner-led UK businesses. A small, senior team, so you talk to the people actually doing the work, and there's one place where it all lives.

We've spent our careers building and running websites and automation for real businesses, inside large UK organisations and for independent owners alike. The same tooling now lets a small, careful team do that work for owner-led businesses, looked after properly rather than handed off.

Marks AI is a partner, not a supplier. We take on the operations that hold a business back: websites and lead generation, customer comms, bookings, reporting and the day-to-day automation. We make the whole thing run better and more autonomous. We don't start with proposals. We start by delivering value, beginning with a small, low-risk first phase and adding more only once it earns its place.

We work with a handful of UK businesses on purpose: depth over breadth, short reply times, no surprises. Trust is the metric that matters.

The team.

Two people who do the work themselves. No account managers, no hand-offs to a junior you never meet.

Mark Lovelady, Founder of Marks AI

Mark Lovelady

Founder

Over a decade in the software industry, building platforms, choosing the right technology, and automating the work that slows a business down. Mark has worked with organisations across many different industries and professions, so he gets up to speed fast on how yours actually runs. He's hands-on with the technical build as well as the strategy, and one of the two people you deal with directly.

Ed Clarke, Technical Director at Marks AI

Ed Clarke

Technical Director

Ed runs the technical side alongside Mark: websites, apps, integrations and the automation that keeps everything running reliably. He also leads on customer success, so he's one of the people you'll actually talk to, not a developer kept behind a project manager. Broad, hands-on, and the one who makes sure what's promised actually ships.

Who we work with.

Owner-led businesses whose ambition runs ahead of their capacity: therapists and counsellors, coaches, residents' groups, photographers, accountants, consultants, creatives and trades. If something isn't a fit, we'll say so.

The mix stays wide on purpose. A therapy practice and a residents' group don't share much, which keeps every project grounded in what it actually needs. Anywhere in the UK, mostly remote over WhatsApp, email and the occasional video call.
